2003-2023: 20+ Years in Financial Operations & Technology

Our team brings extensive experience from sovereign wealth funds and large financial institutions across the Gulf, specializing in business process management, digital transformation, and operational improvement for finance and technology teams.

2023: TheFlowMinds Founded

Identified recurring admin bottlenecks across GCC professional services firms. Built first automation systems (Document Collection System and Revenue Assurance System) for accounting firms in the UAE.

2024-2025: Expansion Across GCC

Thaer M Barakat

Thaer M Barakat brings over two decades of hands-on experience in financial operations and enterprise technology. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan and an MBA from Portland State University in Oregon.

His technical career began in the United States as Information Systems Manager at Prudential Northwest, where he honed his skills bridging IT infrastructure with business operations. He then moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE to work with a prominent sovereign wealth fund, serving as the vital link between technology departments and business operations teams—a role that taught him how technical projects succeed by truly understanding operational needs.

In this unique position, he witnessed firsthand the operational bottlenecks that drain productivity in professional services firms—endless email chains, missed deadlines, manual data entry, and the persistent gap between what technology delivers and what the business actually needs.

Currently operating from Jordan and the United Kingdom, serving clients across the GCC region, he has spent years translating complex operational challenges into elegant automation solutions.

His philosophy is simple: Technology should work for the business, not the other way around. He starts every project by understanding the actual business problem—not just the symptoms—then builds the simplest automation system that genuinely solves it. No over-engineered solutions that require experts to maintain. No generic templates that force customers to change how they work. Just practical, maintainable systems that integrate seamlessly with the team's existing workflows.
